Amendments to SOLAS V/19.2.10 have been adopted by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) through MSC.282(86) as
adopted on June 5th, 2009. ECDIS becomes mandatory and shall be fitted onboard new passenger vessels, chemical tankers and oil tankers as discussed in this Circular.
